Calidona's social commitment.
Calidona's main commitment to society is that we always aim to work in a responsible and efficient manner. We promote improvements wherever we are present, generating value for society and contributing to its social and economic development via the projects in which we are involved.
As part of our commitment to the community, we promote initiatives based on solidarity, culture and sport.
Built around the new project that we are constructing in Corvera, we have initiated a free programme for those local residents who would like to learn English. This programme will help the economic development of the locality and encourage the development of local business.
Since 2005, Roda Golf & Beach Resort has sponsored the San Javier International Jazz Festival, which in less than a decade has become one of the most important cultural events in the Murcia region and one of the main jazz events in the whole of Europe.
Calidona also supports young local business people and together with the AJE Murcia, organises High-Level Management Days.
Calidona also collaborates with ASSIDO (Spanish Down's Syndrome Association) in organising a variety of projects and activities.
Elisa Serramía
At Calidona, we have a strong commitment to sport. For this reason we are sponsoring the brilliant young golfer, Elisa Serramía. The agreement is aimed at strengthening the competition conditions for the 2005 Ladies European Tour rookie of the year.
Elisa Serramía brings with her absolute commitment, stunning accuracy and a level of consistency with which we, as a company, fully identify.
José Manuel Lara
Our sponsorship of José Manuel Lara lasted through 2006 and 2007, enabling us to share the pleasure of his victory at the Hong Kong Open in November 2006.
Moto GP
Since the 2006 season, we have been sponsoring the D'Antin-Pramac Moto GP team, led by the Spanish ex-driver Luis D'Antin. Alex Barros (BRA), Tony Elias (ESP) and Alex Hofmann (ALE) are among the drivers that have worn D'Antin-Pramac's team colours.
